Legends head for Belgium for biggest event yet

Joint-promoters Eventis Sports Marketing and Event Engine Squash have confirmed that the city of Namur will host the next tournament on theLegends of Squash Tour. The Namur Legends of Squash 2012 will be staged from 25-27 May 2012 in the capital of Wallonia, which is located in the southern part of Belgium.

Eight legendary squash players, including former World Champions Peter Nicol (England), Jonathon Power (Canada) and David Palmer (Australia), will face off on Namur’s all-glass squash court during three days of high quality squash and entertainment.

Nicol (World Champion in 1999), Power (World Champion in 1998) and Palmer (World Champion in 2002 and 2006) will be joined by former superstars John White (former world no.1), Simon Parke (former world no.3), Martin Heath (former world no.4), Derek Ryan (former world no.7) and Tim Garner (former world no.26) to make it the most prestigious Legends squash event ever to be staged.
