Reidbuilt Homes Edmonton Open, PSA $5k, 01-04 Nov, Canada
The Reidbuilt Homes Edmonton Open & PSA Event was a whirlwind of activity at the Royal Glenora Club, reports Jeff Williams.
The Edmonton Open itself had 135 participants and 300 matches from Friday to Sunday. The PSA Event was a Challenger 15 Event that brought guys from Malaysia, Hong Kong, Netherlands, France, England, Argentina, Australia and of course Canada.
The final between Shahier Razik (31st in the World) and Nafiizwan Adnan (37th in the World) was by far the best Final that we’ve ever witnessed here at the Edmonton Open.
The Final took approximately 76 minutes with Mohd winning the 1st game 11-5. Shahier then won the 2nd game 11-9 with a 20 minute game. Mohd then responded winning the 3rd game with a solid 11-2 game lasting only 7 minutes. Razik then won the 4th game 11-9 and finally won the 5th game 11-6.
